Rodeo Drive Rhinoplasty - Our Surgeons

Dr. Lloyd Krieger and Dr. Marc Kerner have been professional collaborators since working together during their surgical residency at UCLA Medical Center more than ten years ago. In order to better serve their patients, they combined their diverse skills to create The Rodeo Drive Breathe Easy RhinoplastyTM. In this unique procedure, the two surgeons work as a team to perform rhinoplasties that pay equal attention to aesthetic appearance and ease of breathing.

About Dr. Lloyd Krieger

Dr. Lloyd Krieger Lloyd M. Krieger, MD is the founder and medical director of Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery. He created this unique Los Angeles plastic surgery facility to improve the care and experiences of cosmetic surgery patients.

Dr. Krieger has completed extensive research on how to make cosmetic and plastic surgery a more rewarding experience for patients. This academic work has led to the publication of more than 50 articles, including more than 20 in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the premier plastic surgery journal, as well as in The New England Journal of Medicine and The Journal of the American Medical Association.

A sought-after lecturer by other plastic surgeons on this subject, Dr. Krieger writes frequently for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal and Barron's. His academic work has won numerous awards including three research grants from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Society's prestigious Sherrell J. Aston Award. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Division of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Krieger did his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, and went to medical school at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. There he noticed that medical groups were not managed efficiently. For this reason, he took the unusual step of taking time out from medical school to earn an MBA at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He studied what other service industries did well for their customers, so he could bring these concepts to the care of his plastic surgery patients.

Dr. Krieger was the first resident selected for UCLA's prestigious and super-selective combined general surgery / plastic surgery residency. During his seven years training at UCLA, Dr. Krieger did extensive work in all areas of plastic surgery with emphasis on cosmetic surgery. He also won the UCLA award for best resident research project, focusing on how to optimize the care of patients in cosmetic plastic surgery practices. He maintains hospital operating privileges at UCLA Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Northridge Hospital.
