California Nose Job

California nose job has become a commonplace and even routine procedure, performed for both medical and cosmetic reasons. But that does not mean it is simple or easy. Indeed, the procedure is often one of the most complicated performed by plastic surgeons.

Everyone has his or her own reasons for seeking a California nose job. And to accommodate this, there are many choices in nose surgery. Patients have the option to reduce or increase the size of their nose, change the general shape of their nose, narrow the nostril width, manipulate the angle between the nose and the upper lip, and lessen the appearance of prominent bumps. A California nose job is done on an outpatient basis. You will arrive in the morning and that very same day will be able to return to the comfort of your own home. You must have someone pick you up following the procedure, drive you home, and stay with you the night following your surgery. Once you return home you are advised to keep your head elevated even while you are sleeping and walk around. You are not on strict bed rest. We also want you to be drinking plenty of fluids and eating. You will be advised to take five to seven days off from work. In some cases you may return to work sooner if you feel up to it. The first week the main restriction you do have is that you not bump your nose, or allow anything to hit your nose. This will protect the results of your California nose surgery.
